Installation guide for the ISC40-GS sensor with a
Sanitary Fitting
This document is designed to supplement the ISC40 instruction manual. It depicts the installation
of the sanitary fitting using the two inch tri-clamp fitting, /SCT option, and the ISC40G-GS sensor.
1. Before you begin, make sure you have all of the
following items: ISC40-GS shaft version sensor;
Instruction Manual; Sanitary fitting (2 inch triclamp /SCT1 or /SCT2 or the Tuchenhagen /SFT1);
plastic nut.
2. Unscrew the sanitary fitting pieces and locate the
O-ring (A) and a metal sealing ring (B).
3. Slide the tri-clamp piece onto the ISC40G(S)-GS
sensor, followed by the o-ring and then the metal
sealing ring.

4. Slide the back portion of the tri-clamp fitting onto
the ISC40G (S)-GS Sensor.
5. First thread the back portion of the tri-clamp
fitting into the front tri-clamp piece ensuring a
snug fit, as shown in the image to the right.
6. Next tighten the nut of the tri-clamp fitting as
shown in the image to the right.
7. Slide the plastic nut onto the ISC40G(S)-GS sensor
and thread it onto the back of the sensor body as
shown in the image to the right. Installation of the
fitting onto the sensor is now complete.
